Legacy Learning Academy
Hi, I'm Ashley - devoted wife, boy mom to 4, and certified teacher. Education has always been a passion of mine, and I had the privilege of teaching junior high language arts for 5 years. I learned so much during this time, and I could not have possibly loved my job more than I did. Enter motherhood. When I had my son Kaden, I decided that I couldn't possibly be away from him all day long, and my husband and I decided it was best for our family if I stayed home to take care of him. As hard as it was to leave teaching, my heart was calling me to something else. Motherhood. The early days at home with my son were quite easy, but as he started approaching 1 and then 2 , and then we had our son Dane, I realized I needed more to keep Kaden busy and engaged. The teacher in me wanted to find educational activities for him to work on while I was taking care of his younger brother, but I quickly found that engaging, hands-on, educational activities for toddlers are very hard to find! I did a little (ok, a lot) of research, and I decided that I needed to create my own activities to stimulate his mind, and that is when Legacy Learning Academy came to be. I am now lucky enough that all of my 4 sons are old enough to reap the benefits of these activities, and I can't wait for you to dig a little deeper to find some items that will enrich the life of your little learners!
